This cut-away drawing shows what we are standing on top of - a 110 ft high cavity, blasted out of the rock. The blue sphere with the neck is the vessel that holds 1000 tons of heavy water, worth about $400 million. The rest of the cavity is filled with ultra pure ordinary water.
