| These visitors to Pole are workers stationed at McMurdo and were passengers on a "morale flight." (Raytheon stopped doing morale flights for a while, but the effect on employee spirits was noted.) There were twenty minutes to take pictures, then back to McMurdo on the same plane (about seven hours round trip). But it meant a lot to these folks to have been once to the South Pole.
