PMT Support Structure (PSUP)
This is what the inside of the cavity looked like before it was filled with water. The geodesic structure is about 60 feet across. Inside the ball of photomultiplier tubes is the acrylic vessel. If we poke our head up into this ball (the Photomultiplier Support Structure) we can see the acrylic vessel in the next picture.
